The BSIR would like to send condolences to the family and many friends of Roy Greenberg who sadly died this week aged just 49. He was a very fine vascular surgeon who took the time to train in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He made a massive contribution to the safety of aortic stent grafting with his innovative work in the field of 3D imaging for planning complex stent grafts. Far more importantly he was a really friendly,  honest ‘bloke’ who was much admired by many UK interventionists lucky enough to have met him and enjoyed his company.
